Power of expression
Who is the project aimed at?
The Power of Expression is designed for young people aged 13–18 who want to explore creative ways of expressing themselves, develop new skills, and make a positive impact in their communities. The project will directly involve a core team of 15 youth leaders, who will be trained and supported to become anti-bullying ambassadors. In addition, more than 100 young people will participate in workshops, events, and creative activities throughout the project.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment and particularly encourage the participation of young people with fewer opportunities, diverse cultural backgrounds, and those whose voices are often underrepresented. Project Description
The Power of Expression is a 24-month Erasmus+ Youth Participation project that empowers young people to address bullying through creativity, self-expression, and active citizenship.
The project creates opportunities for young people to explore important social issues, share their experiences, and engage in meaningful dialogue with decision-makers. Through a combination of photography, theatre, podcasting, visual arts, and non-formal education, participants will develop the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to become advocates for positive change in their schools and communities.
The journey begins with the Bullying Busters Bootcamp, where youth leaders will be trained as anti-bullying ambassadors. Throughout the project, they will design and lead a series of creative events, including a Photovoice exhibition, participatory theatre activities, a youth-produced podcast series, and a community arts festival. These activities will provide safe spaces for reflection, storytelling, collaboration, and civic engagement.
By bringing together young people, educators, community stakeholders, and decision-makers, The Power of Expression aims to strengthen youth participation, promote inclusion and empathy, and contribute to the creation of safer and more supportive environments for all young people.
Through creativity, dialogue, and action, the project demonstrates that every voice matters and that young people have the power to inspire meaningful social change.
