Project Description

Play4FinancialSkills is an innovative educational programme designed to introduce kids, young people and teachers to financial education through interactive, age-appropriate methods. Using board games,, the programme offers a practical and engaging learning experience that helps participants grasp essential financial concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing, and debt management.

In a world where financial literacy is increasingly vital, Play4FinancialSkills addresses the urgent need to equip young people with real-life skills that enable them to make responsible financial decisions, avoid debt traps, and build a stable financial future. The playful approach encourages learning through hands-on experience, collaboration, and reflection, creating a safe and stimulating environment where participants can explore the consequences of financial choices without real risk.

Description of the beneficiaries

Beneficiaries:

Play4FinancialSkills targets a wide age range, divided into four distinct groups, each tailored to developmental stages and financial knowledge (Students and Young People –  8–14 years):

Juniors (8–10 years) – children beginning to understand basic money concepts, savings, and financial responsibility through games and storytelling.

Curious Detectives (11–14 years) – pre-teens exploring everyday financial situations and starting to comprehend personal financial decisions.

These beneficiaries apply learned concepts to real-life situations, developing crucial skills for financial autonomy and personal well-being.

Indirectly, the project also benefits educational and local communities by providing modern tools and methods for integrating financial education into school systems and community programmes, promoting broader financial awareness and resilience.
