L’Ecole des Valeurs, the Luxembourg branch of the Romanian School of Values, is thrilled to launch a new project for the Romanian community in Luxembourg. This course emphasizes the consolidation and preservation of Romanian cultural identity in an international and multicultural environment, targeting children aged between 8 and 14 years.
What do we propose for this course?
Our project takes a holistic approach, providing cultural and educational activities for children.
diversified Educational program
Children will learn about the history, geography, and unique cultural elements of Romania. They will explore significant places and tourist attractions in the country, be introduced to key moments and important historical figures, and discover the influence of Romanian personalities on European and global culture.
Exploring Ethnic and Cultural Diversity
The course includes presentations on Romania's ethnic and cultural diversity, as well as the intangible heritage represented by the traditional Romanian costume.
Thematic Holiday Workshops
Activities will include Romanian carols and Christmas traditions, including specific culinary dishes.
Participation in Multicultural Local Events
We will promote and actively participate in cultural events and festivals in Luxembourg, such as the International Bazaar or the Festival of Migrations, where Romanian culture is showcased through art exhibitions, concerts of traditional music, and Romanian food tastings.
Interactions with Romanian Personalities
Children will have the opportunity to meet Romanian cultural figures and individuals with significant impact on the social and political life in Luxembourg.
