Empowering Young Changemakers
Are you between 18 and 22 years old and interested in leadership, civic engagement, and community development? Join the Empowering Young Changemakers project! The project will involve young people from Romania, as well as representatives from local authorities, NGOs, and the communities to which the participants belong. The project aims to create an open dialogue and sustainable solutions for addressing the identified problems. Registration period: February 27 – March 16, 2025.

Project Description
The Empowering Young Changemakers (EYC) project is an Erasmus+ initiative designed to inspire and equip 30 youth leaders from Luxembourg and Romania with the skills to drive local and international change. Over 18 months, participants will engage in a series of interactive workshops, exhibitions, and festivals to explore inclusion, environmental sustainability, and youth habits, culminating in practical initiatives that address community needs.
Central to the project are activities like PhotoVoice workshops, Community Changers Bootcamp, and local festivals that bridge the gap between young people and decision-makers. These activities provide hands-on experience in advocacy, leadership, and project management, fostering a generation of active, empowered youth.
Beneficiaries:
The beneficiaries of the project are 50 young people from Romania and Luxembourg, aged between 18 and 24, interested in leadership, civic engagement, and community development. As part of the Empowering Young Changemakers project, L’École des Valeurs is partnering with Școala de Valori. The project aims to support young people in creating initiatives with a real impact in the community

The project strengthens L’ecole des Valeurs’ mission of fostering civic engagement and intercultural understanding. By equipping youth with leadership and advocacy skills, the initiative promotes long-term community development and inclusion.
Skills Obtained at the End of the Project
At the end of the project, participants will have acquired a range of valuable skills, including leadership and team management, critical thinking and project planning, and advocacy with a focus on community engagement. They will also gain proficiency in media literacy and storytelling through the PhotoVoice method, as well as experience in intercultural collaboration and communication. These skills will empower them to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
