Are you ready to take charge of your future? If you're eager to embark on this journey of growth and transformation, "I Can Have the Job I Want" awaits! Our voyage continues with fervor as we join hands with a diverse consortium for the "I Can Have the Job I Want" project. Our united goal is to nurture young individuals, empowering them to chart courses towards their dream careers. Each partner brings a distinctive tapestry of skills, woven together by a shared dedication to guiding youth and shaping their vocational destinies. Through collaborative synergy with our partner organizations, we are committed to guiding young minds in identifying career avenues, crafting strategic job search tactics, and enhancing their prowess in interviews. This collective pursuit aims to carve an enduring legacy of fulfilled ambitions and personal growth.
A Week of Transformative Career Preparation and Skill-Building
Over seven days of immersive activities, participants engaged in holistic preparation for entering the ever-evolving job market. The schedule included practical simulations facilitated by the “The Power of a Good Trainer” participants, such as role-playing for interview simulations, crafting CVs and LinkedIn Profiles, job search strategies, interview tips, and cover letter writing. It also included activities for discovering passions and interests, 21st-century skills, discovering their river of learning, exploring the ideal workplace, and future and historical occupations.
The participants learned about entering the European job market and the importance of constant improvement in a dynamic world; they developed their networking and social skills and built confidence to initiate job searches in their domain of interest, build a career and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. The programme is followed by a series of webinars offering the participants support and career coaching.
With 27 participants hailing from Romania, Luxembourg, Poland, and Türkiye (including participants from Pakistan, Nigeria, and China in the Luxembourg contingent) and two trainers from Romania and Luxembourg, Augustina Vasile and Marius Botos, the gender-balanced group aged 18-35, explored together the vast array of topics essential for their career journey.
