Project Description

The project aims to strengthen the leadership capacity of 30 youth workers from 6 partner countries by enhancing their skills in effective communication, team building, evaluation, and decision-making.

Participants, aged 24–39, include both employees and volunteers actively engaged in youth work, with a focus on those with limited experience and fewer opportunities.

Through a 7-day training course in Luxembourg, youth workers will explore leadership concepts, styles, and practices using a mix of non-formal (e.g. role plays, simulations) and formal (e.g. presentations, case studies) learning methods.

The training begins with team-building and continues with sessions on leadership development and communication, including practical workshops in a local high school.

Cultural visits and group activities—such as exploring the European institutions, Echternach, Mullerthal, and Luxembourg City—will foster intercultural exchange and bonding.

Participants will develop at least three key leadership skills and grow in confidence to lead youth initiatives in their communities.

Special attention is given to inclusion by addressing economic and geographical barriers to participation.

The project promotes active engagement, peer learning, and long-term impact through local follow-up activities and dissemination.

It supports youth workers in becoming role models and encourages innovative approaches to youth engagement.

Ultimately, the project contributes to building a new generation of informed, capable, and inspiring leaders.
